It’s been humbling to see the difference it’s already made to them both, particularly the young lady my husband sponsors, an orphan who was alone and suffering from malaria, she now lives with another sponsored child and his kind grandmother. She is healthy, wears clean clothes, gets a monthly food package and an education. The boy I sponsor is also an orphan, he lives with his little brother and elderly grandmother. Its wonderful knowing that he’s happy and able to attend school and that the food package really helps the whole family. It’s a privilege that an amount we can comfortably afford is so life changing.”

Donations are gratefully received by our charity; Changing Lives Malawi to support those most in need in Ibuluma, rural Northern Malawi. Nobody in our very small UK team takes a salary; administrative costs are met by the team, and every penny sent to Malawi goes towards supporting a community through education, feeding, and sustainable projects. The end goal is self-sufficiency and sustainability.
In the Western world it might be thought that a few pounds or dollars won’t make a difference. In Malawi those donations have a huge impact.
